Eyes on Democracy Podcast returns for new season

Why does Ukraine’s fight for freedom matter for the whole of Europe? That's the question at the heart of the first episode of the new season of Eyes on Democracy.

Our guest is Leena Maria Linnus, Minister Counsellor and Head of the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK. She discusses what parliaments, the media and civil society can do to sustain support for Ukraine, and how to counter war fatigue and disinformation.

The conversation looks ahead to “Ukraine and the Future of Europe: Unity, Security, Democracy”, held at Europe House in London on 7 September 2026.

More on CIVIL Today: Eyes on Democracy opens its second season Eyes on Democracy is hosted by Roger Casale and Xhabir Deralla and produced by CIVIL Media.
