About New Europeans UK

New Europeans UK is a registered charity, founded in 2013, that helps EU citizens secure their rights in the UK and supports Britons living in Europe.

We give free advice to vulnerable EU citizens and their families on the EU Settlement Scheme, campaign for fair rights and representation, and research the gaps that leave people behind. What we do

  • Advice: Our advisers are regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority. We give free advice on settled and pre-settled status, late applications and complex cases, in many European languages.
  • Campaigns: From #RightToStay and Vote Denied to our current call for overseas constituencies, we push for EU citizens in the UK and Britons abroad to have a vote and a voice.
  • Research: Reports such as Mind the Gaps (2026) show how the EU Settlement Scheme can exclude people, and they feed directly into our policy work.
  • Parliament: We are the secretariat to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Citizens’ Rights.
Our year in 2025
  • 1,451 people supported with EU Settlement Scheme guidance
  • 76 complex applications submitted to secure the right to remain
