1-2 million EU citizens unable to vote, says group that warned government of election chaos

Between one and two million EU citizens living in the United Kingdom were unable to vote today after “shameful” chaos caused by the registration process, according to a civil rights group.

The European Commission has confirmed that it will look into the serious complaint raised by New Europeans with respect to the mass exclusion of EU citizens from the Euroepan parliamentary elections in the UK.
