New Europeans is an award-winning civil rights organisation based in Brussels and London.
Founded in 2013, we champion the rights of EU citizens and third country nationals and work for a Europe of the citizens, of equality and social justice, anchored in human rights.
We deliver our mission through campaigns, grant-funded programmes and by empowering EU citizens to give voice to their concerns, challenge prevailing narratives, for example on migration, and engage with the debate about Europe’s future.
Our aim is to bring individuals and communities together to celebrate, defend and put into action the shared values which form the foundation of our European identity – democracy, human rights and respect, solidarity and rule of law.
We are organised on the basis of European cities and regions, coordinated and supported through our headquarters at the Maison des Associations Internationales in Brussels.
We are a non-party, non-denominational civil society organisation and our campaigns are supported and funded by membership subscriptions and donations.
In the UK we are applying for charitable status to support specific grant-funded programmes aimed at supporting EU27 citizens if Britain leaves the European Union.
