In 1964, the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe decided that 5 May, the anniversary of the founding of the Council of Europe, should be celebrated as Europe Day.
The Maastricht Debate 2019 will take place on April 29 evening with the lead candidates of the European political parties for the role of European Commission President. The 90-minute event will be broadcast live across the European Union.
This is an open evening for EU27 citizens in Oxford and Oxfordshire who would like to know more about their rights post Brexit. An immigration solicitor will be present to explain the Settled Status sheme and to answer questions.
