The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is an annual observance day declared by the UN General Assembly in 2000 to raise awareness of violence against women.
At New Europeans, we would like to put a particular emphasis in 2020 on keeping at the forefront of attention the violence and oppression against the Women of Belarus being carried out daily by the authoritarian regime of Lukašėnka in Belarus.
Nina Baginskaya and the incredible Belarusian women.
“Nina Baginskaya is a tiny woman, but with a huge and strong will and faith. Brave and unstoppable.
She believed when no one believed.
'Walked' when no one 'walked' ”.
