Roger Casale is an award-winning civil rights campaigner and former Labour MP.
In 2013, he set up New Europeans, an organisation which champions the rights of EU citizens in the UK and which campaigns for the status of EU citizens to be ring-fenced post Brexit. New Europeans was the first organisation to propose a confirmatory referendum to break the Brexit impasse.
Roger is a prominent pro-remain campaigner and was on the organising committees of the 2017 Unite for Europe March and People’s March for Europe. Prior to setting up New Europeans, he worked as a senior government affairs advisor in the private sector including for companies in Basildon, Luton and Chelmsford. He speaks four languages and was the winner of the Financial Times Future of Britain Award 2017.
