Gary Paterson

Gary Paterson is a European youth activist focused on widening opportunities, tackling inequality, and developing European citizenship and education.

He is a Politics and International Relations student at the University of Strathclyde and works in Glasgow as a Constituency Assistant to a Member of the Scottish Parliament.

Gary was the President of Strathclyde Students Union and the Vice President (Communities) of the National Union of Students Scotland and was was previously the Scottish Youth Parliament's Education Convener and the Scottish Youth Ambassador to Europe. 

Alongside his work for New Europeans, he works with a number of EU youth and education bodies to further European citizenship and development.
