Launch of VoteDenied recommendations - European Citizens Abroad, 11 July

Following reports of EU citizens being denied the vote in the European elections in May, New Europeans has launched its recommendations.

We have presented our findings and our proposals to the Electoral Commission, European Commission and the Political and Constitutional Reform Committee at the House of Commons and are working with all three bodies towards a constructive resolution of the VoteDenied issue.

This will require a reform of the voter registration procedures currently in place for EU expat voters.

Please read and support our recommendations.

We are grateful to our partners European Citizens Abroad for hosting the launch of our propsoals on their website.
