Engagement Officer (part-time 14hrs)

New Europeans is seeking an Engagement Officer to work on its work supporting the voluntary sector in London to promote the rights of EU citizens.
The post holder will support the team in the delivery and communications of research, training and events.
The role will involve working with voluntary organisations and community groups across London, including working with marginalised and disadvantaged groups. The post holder will work to strengthen the ability of these organisations to support the rights of EU citizens, with a focus on raising the awareness of and improving access to the EU Settlement Scheme.
The post holder will contribute to Third Sector discourse and to build networks in the sector.
S/he/they will also work collaboratively on a range of activities working closely with colleagues and project partners.
New Europeans is a civil society initiative promoting the values of European Citizenship, including promoting awareness of the rights of European citizens, to live, work and study in member states across the European Union.
It seeks to promote inclusion and participation by EU citizens living outside their own member states in the communities where they live, through volunteering and other forms of active citizenship.
The post is based at the London Bridge office in London.
