1-2 million EU citizens unable to vote, says group that warned government of election chaos

Between one and two million EU citizens living in the United Kingdom were unable to vote today after “shameful” chaos caused by the registration process, according to a civil rights group.

New Europeans have collected information from electoral registration officers across the country, suggesting that between one-third to two-thirds of EU citizens in the UK were unable to cast a ballot.
