"The EU is the world’s most successful peace project, and with freedom of movement, gives us rights which enrich our lives, as well as bringing benefits to our country, economy, and society.

"I am myself a mobile EU citizen, currently working in Brussels and having previously studied in Belgium. The EU is something we should cherish, not walk away from."

I believe Brexit will be a disaster for Britain and for everyone living here. It is a populist coup against our national interests, with the most vulnerable in our society affected the most. British people face losing rights and opportunities with their EU citizenship, while other EU citizens will lose their automatic rights to stay, work and live the lives they have built in Britain.

That is why I am standing as a candidate in the European elections: I will fight to stop Brexit, to guarantee the rights of all EU citizens, and to remain where Britain belongs - firmly in the European Union.”
