Fundraising and senior advisor
Tamara has 20 years experience of European Funding and Advocacy Training; Transnational work; Managing EU projects; Project Evaluation. She is a specialist bilingual consultant, working on advocacy, government relation and European funding, with experience in the UK and Europe, in the social sector, public sector and government.
At European level, she has worked with a range of actors on social policy issues, including the Citizenship Unit in DG Justice, where she was a member of the Active Citizenship Structural Dialogue Group. Tamara has also worked with the European Parliament, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Council of Europe where she advised on texts on active citizenship and volunteering in the International NGO group. She was a founder member of the European Year of Volunteering Alliance 2011, and was part of the leadership team which over three years, drove a European wide campaign with 27 other agencies on EYV2011.
Tamara has been a board member of two EU wide networks, Solidar and Volonteurope and was chair of NCVO’s European Funding Network for 4 years. She develops and writes EU funding applications for national and transnational projects. She advises on EU project compliance, audit, and project closure and undertakes evaluations of national and transnational projects. She is the chair and founder of EU Matters, an NGO working on European issues and citizenship education. She is a registered expert with the European Commission for Erasmus plus; Europe for Citizens and EU Aid Volunteer projects.
