About New Europeans
Contribution to the board
I am an European citizen whose academic work focuses on migrant rights, citizenship and integration with a particular interest on freedom of movement in Europe and emerging new communities. In addition to my academic work, I am dedicated advocate of European citizenship and its associate rights and have strong links with the Romanian community in UK particularly in the North of England.
As a Trustee for New Europeans, I hope to better link the organisation with the fast growing Romanian community in UK and the North of England with a view of the forthcoming Brexit Day. Furthermore, I am committed in strengthening links between academia, statutory agencies and the wider civil society in UK and I have experience in doing so from founding the Commission on Diversity in the North which brings together local authorities, the Policy and national and local charities.
