"New Europeans provides a sort of melting pot where citizens across the continent can, despite cultural and linguistic differences, unite over the ideals of equal rights, shared values and a better future for all. It's an important forum that can really make a difference in the public debate."
Like many Londoners, Nishan is a product of several European cultures and speaks several languages. He knows first-hand how crucial – and how challenging – it is to build a new life in a new country.
He is passionate about politics, the environment and human rights, and has campaigned on numerous national and international issues.
