Kristiana graduated from King's College London with a Bachelor in Liberal Arts, majoring in International and European Politics with a special emphasis on migration and security studies.
While studying she interned for UNICEF and the UN Association of Bulgaria, dealing mainly with the current refugee situation at the borders.
During the final year of her bachelor's studies, she worked as an executive officer at the London-based youth platform My Life My Say, where she was in charge of securing successful relations between minority groups and the government bodies.
In 2016, she worked for the European Grassroots Antiracist Movement (Paris), campaigning for the rights of Roma minorities and working with MEPs on a daily basis, carrying out advocacy work on the many human rights issues at stake.
